University of Illinois Goalie Helmet
Industrial design is not just a career to me; it's a lifestyle. I am always working on personal projects to master new techniques and materials. One of my recent personal projects was an airbrushed hockey goalie helmet for a former teammate who now plays for the University of Illinois. The design goal was to create a striking and unique helmet, with intricate details and vibrant colors that really
stood out on the ice.

I was really challenged in the process of finishing this helmet, I ran into a lot of issues and had to reboot three different times to get a result I was happy with.
I had to focus on managing colors that were within a brand standard, chemical and material adhesion, and transparency of different paint pigments.
I want to thank Joe Schmid for trusting me to make him look good!

After completing the helmet, I was reached out to again to work on the vectors for the leg pads, glove and blocker. Here are the first images!
